Moradabad, 05/07/2023: UDGI Foundation proudly collaborated with the District Administration in their initiative, Pustak Daan Abhiyan, to promote education and literacy in rural areas. Through this campaign, over 5,000 books were collected and handed over to the District Magistrate (DM) and Chief Development Officer (CDO) to be distributed across village libraries.

The Pustak Daan Abhiyan aims to create opportunities for children and adults in rural areas to access a variety of books and educational resources, fostering a culture of learning. UDGI Foundation played a key role by mobilizing volunteers, schools, and communities to donate books, which will now be made available to readers in village libraries.

Speaking about the initiative, Sonu Singh, CEO of UDGI Foundation, said, “Education is at the heart of our mission, and this campaign is an important step towards making knowledge accessible to all. We are grateful to the people who contributed to this effort and to the District Administration for their support in ensuring these books reach those who need them most.”

The handover ceremony took place at the District Administration office, where the books were presented to the DM and CDO. The collected books cover a wide range of subjects, from academic materials to children’s literature and general knowledge, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

UDGI Foundation remains committed to making quality education accessible to all and will continue to support similar initiatives aimed at uplifting rural communities.
