At UDGI Foundation, we believe that digital and financial literacy are critical drivers of empowerment in today’s fast-paced world. Our Digital and Financial Literacy Program is designed to equip underserved communities, especially in rural and slum areas, with the essential skills needed to thrive in the modern digital economy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and promote financial inclusion by empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to access digital platforms and manage their finances effectively. We aim to create a society where everyone, regardless of background, has the opportunity to improve their quality of life through technology and financial awareness.

Program Objectives

• Enhancing Digital Literacy: We provide training on basic computer skills, internet usage, and access to government services online. This includes hands-on learning of key applications such as MS Office, email, and social media.
• Financial Literacy Training: Our program introduces participants to essential financial concepts like budgeting, saving, banking, and digital payments, helping them to make informed decisions about their finances.
• Empowering Women and Youth: We prioritize women and young individuals, giving them the tools to become financially independent and digitally capable, boosting their confidence and self-reliance.
• Promoting Digital Inclusion: By focusing on rural and slum communities, we are ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital revolution. We provide access to technology and foster a deeper understanding of the digital world.

Program Highlights

• Training Centers: Through our UDGI Pathshala and UDGI Academy Centers, we have set up learning hubs in various communities to offer free digital and financial literacy classes.
• Customized Curriculum: We offer a tailored curriculum that includes both beginner and advanced courses, ensuring that every participant gains practical knowledge relevant to their everyday lives.
• Financial Services Access: Participants are taught how to access banking services online, use mobile banking apps, and manage digital wallets, reducing their reliance on cash transactions.
• Digital Security Awareness: Our program also covers essential topics such as cybersecurity, protecting personal information, and preventing online fraud.

Key Achievements

• 4,000+ Students Trained: We have successfully trained over 4,000 students under our PMGDISHA initiative in collaboration with CSC and Capgemini.
• 5,000+ Students Benefitted: Through our Digital Productivity Program in partnership with UNICEF and CSC Academy, over 5,000 students have gained valuable digital skills.
• Women Empowerment through Cyber Sangani: We have trained rural women (ages 16-40) on digital security through our Cyber Sangani Project, enhancing their digital literacy and safety.
