Project Baala Team Field Visit to UDGI Foundation – Streeswabhiman Initiative

Overview:

The UDGI Foundation hosted the Project Baala Team on a two-day field visit from 2nd July to 3rd July 2025 under the ongoing Streeswabhiman initiative, as part of the MSI 2025 partnership. The event aimed to evaluate the impact of menstrual health awareness, sustainable pad distribution, and to engage with the community and field workers.

Key Highlights:

• Day 1 (02/07/2025):

  • Welcome session and presentation on Streeswabhiman’s progress.

  • Field visit to rural distribution points.

  • Interaction with ASHA workers, girls, and SHG leaders.

  • Demonstration and feedback collection on Baala reusable pads.

• Day 2 (03/07/2025):

  • Community workshop on menstrual hygiene management (MHM).

  • Sharing of success stories by beneficiaries.

  • Joint planning session for scale-up strategies.

  • Certificate of appreciation awarded to volunteers and health workers.

Outcome:

• Strengthened collaboration between UDGI Foundation and Project Baala.

• Real-time insights into local impact and community needs.

• Identification of best practices for future interventions under MSI 2025.
