TB Mukt Bharat

TB Mukt Bharat: Empowering Communities for a Tuberculosis-Free India

At UDGI Foundation, we are committed to supporting the national mission of a Tuberculosis (TB)-free India. Our TB Mukt Bharat program is a community-driven initiative that focuses on the early detection, treatment, and prevention of TB, particularly in rural and underserved areas. We work hand-in-hand with local health authorities, volunteers, and community members to ensure that everyone has access to the necessary resources and information to fight this disease.

Why TB Mukt Bharat?

India accounts for the highest burden of TB cases in the world, with millions of people at risk. Many individuals remain undiagnosed or untreated, leading to further spread of the disease. Our TB Mukt Bharat program aims to tackle these challenges through:

  • Awareness Campaigns: Educating communities about the symptoms, causes, and treatment of TB to encourage early detection and reduce stigma.
  • Screening and Diagnosis: Organizing TB screening camps in rural and slum areas to ensure early diagnosis and treatment.
  • Support for Patients: Providing free medical assistance, nutritional support, and regular follow-ups for TB patients to ensure complete recovery.
  • Community Engagement: Training local volunteers and health workers to become advocates for TB awareness and help in identifying and supporting patients.
  • Collaboration with Government: Working alongside government health programs like the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) to strengthen the fight against TB.

Our Impact

Since the launch of TB Mukt Bharat, UDGI Foundation has:

  • Supported over 650+ TB patients with medical care, nutrition, and counseling.
  • Conducted 50 awareness camps in rural communities, reaching thousands of individuals.
  • Partnered with local health clinics to provide free TB screening and diagnostics.
  • Trained 100+ local volunteers and health workers to act as TB warriors in their communities.

How You Can Help

You can join us in the fight against tuberculosis by:

  • Volunteering: Become a part of our on-ground team and help spread awareness, organize camps, and provide support to TB patients.
  • Donating: Your contributions can help us provide essential medicines, nutritional kits, and medical care to patients in need.
  • Spreading Awareness: Educate your community about the signs and symptoms of TB, and encourage those showing symptoms to seek medical help.

Together, we can make TB Mukt Bharat a reality and move closer to a healthier, TB-free India.
