UDGI Pathshala (Aarambh)

Building Strong Foundations for Every Child
UDGI Pathshala (Aarambh) is the foundational learning initiative of UDGI Foundation dedicated to ensuring that every child acquires essential literacy, numeracy, and life skills during their early years of education. The word "Aarambh" symbolizes a new beginning. Through this program, we aim to bridge learning gaps among children studying in government schools and underserved communities, helping them develop the strong educational foundation needed for future success. Many children, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, struggle with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. UDGI Pathshala (Aarambh) addresses these challenges through structured remedial education, activity-based learning, and community engagement.

Why Aarambh?

Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) are the building blocks of lifelong learning. A child who cannot read, write, or perform basic mathematical operations at the appropriate age often faces difficulties throughout their educational journey.

UDGI Pathshala (Aarambh) focuses on ensuring that every child can:

  • Read and understand age-appropriate text
  • Write confidently and effectively
  • Perform basic mathematical operations
  • Develop problem-solving abilities
  • Build communication skills
  • Learn through creativity and exploration
