AstroVigyan is a modular Space Lab initiative offering hands-on learning in astronomy, rocketry, satellites, electronics, coding, and data science. The lab can be set up in an existing classroom and scaled gradually. Each module delivers Do–Learn–Share cycles: students build real devices, test them outdoors, and present findings through journals and exhibitions.
We remove barriers through standardized kits, on-site setup, and multi-lingual content. Schools can start at a basic level and upgrade over time.

Entry kit for schools starting out; portable, low-maintenance.
Comprehensive lab with telescopes, rocketry, electronics, coding & data.
For district/state exemplars & senior secondary schools.
Structured modules with competency goals, assessments, and community showcases.
Each module concludes with a rubric-based assessment, portfolio review, and a UDGI Foundation certificate. Students showcase work through fairs, social impact projects, and community nights.
Exact items vary by model; all kits include spares, consumables, and safety gear.
Offline-first lesson videos (Hindi/English), simulations, Python notebooks, observation logs,
assessment rubrics, and printable worksheets. Optional LMS access for tracking and remote mentoring.
Site survey, room preparation, kit delivery, inventory, safety briefing, and inaugural observation night.
Hands-on training (1–3 days) covering equipment, facilitation, safety, and assessments. Ongoing mentoring via calls and visits.
Monthly sessions by UDGI facilitators or trained teachers; dashboard to track usage, projects, and impact metrics.
Equipment is school-safe and compliant with standard safety norms. UDGI Foundation follows low-altitude protocols, safety zones, and parental/administrative permissions. Solar observation strictly uses certified filters and procedures

AstroVigyan is CSR-ready and suitable for district/state programs, NGOs, and philanthropic donors. Exact budgets depend on model, number of schools, and local procurement.
Basic kit & training funded by the school with phased upgrades.
Full setup, annual opex, events, and dashboard covered.
Advanced lab as a hub with satellite schools accessing kits.
District education offices & state missions can onboard AstroVigyan through CSR convergence, Samagra Shiksha funds, or innovation grants.
Corporates support labs in adopted schools with branded community nights and volunteer engagement.
NGOs and colleges can co-run labs, mentor students, and host exposure visits, hackathons, and exhibitions.
A regular classroom (300–500 sq.ft.) with lockable storage works. Outdoor area is needed for rocketry and sky observations.
No. Content is offline-first. A regular power point is sufficient; telescopes are manual unless you choose the Advanced model.
Yes—activities follow strict safety ranges, checklists, and permissions. We start with paper/water rockets before model astrovigyan.
Yes, the kit comes with teacher training, lesson plans, and a support helpline to help them run sessions independently.
Content is available in English and Hindi. Regional language add-ons are possible for partner programs.
Setup takes about 3–5 days, including delivery, installation, and basic training for teachers.
UDGI Foundation invites CSR partners, donors, NGOs, and government bodies to join this journey to spark scientific imagination in the most underserved corners of India.
