What is AstroVigyan?

AstroVigyan is a modular Space Lab initiative offering hands-on learning in astronomy, rocketry, satellites, electronics, coding, and data science. The lab can be set up in an existing classroom and scaled gradually. Each module delivers Do–Learn–Share cycles: students build real devices, test them outdoors, and present findings through journals and exhibitions.

Why AstroVigyan Lab?

Designed for Government & Rural Schools

We remove barriers through standardized kits, on-site setup, and multi-lingual content. Schools can start at a basic level and upgrade over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

▼ How much space does the lab need?

A regular classroom (300–500 sq.ft.) with lockable storage works. Outdoor area is needed for rocketry and sky observations.

▼ Do we need internet or power backup?

No. Content is offline-first. A regular power point is sufficient; telescopes are manual unless you choose the Advanced model.

▼ Is safe?

Yes—activities follow strict safety ranges, checklists, and permissions. We start with paper/water rockets before model astrovigyan.

▼ Can teachers run it themselves?

Yes, the kit comes with teacher training, lesson plans, and a support helpline to help them run sessions independently.

▼ Which languages are supported?

Content is available in English and Hindi. Regional language add-ons are possible for partner programs.

▼ How long does setup take?

Setup takes about 3–5 days, including delivery, installation, and basic training for teachers.
