WHY SKILLING?
The youth comprises over one-third of the Indian population which in turn constitutes a major part of the labour force of the country. A country like India which has a huge young population can reap better benefits from the demographic dividend if its youth are better skilled and employable. It is crucial for the energy of the underprivileged youth to be channelized properly with proper direction to aid economic growth and nation building.
WHAT WE DO – Livelihood Programme
At UDGI Foundation, we are committed to empowering individuals, especially women and youth, by providing them with sustainable livelihood opportunities. Our Livelihood Programme focuses on skill development, entrepreneurship, and financial independence, ensuring long-term economic stability for communities.

✅ Self-Help Groups (SHGs) & Entrepreneurship
We support SHGs by providing financial literacy, business training, and market linkages to help individuals start and scale their businesses.
✅ Cyber Sangani – Digital Jobs for Women
Through our Cyber Sangani initiative, we train women in digital skills and provide them with local job opportunities, such as data entry, digital marketing, and e-governance roles.
✅ Placement & Employment Support
We connect trained individuals with job opportunities in local businesses, companies, and institutions, ensuring sustainable livelihoods.
✅ Sustainable Livelihood Models
We promote eco-friendly and community-based business models, such as sustainable farming and plastic-free initiatives, to support economic growth while protecting the environment.
