Save Earth

🌍 Save Earth Project

The Save Earth Project by UDGI Foundation is an environmental awareness and action campaign aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices, sustainable living, and climate responsibility in rural and semi-urban areas.
The project includes activities like tree plantation, plastic-free drives, clean village campaigns, school awareness sessions, and eco clubs.
It empowers communities, especially children and youth, to become green warriors and take small actions for a big impact on the planet.
Through education and hands-on initiatives, it promotes the idea of “Mitti se mohabbat, Prakriti ki raksha.

Why Save Earth

Environmental pollution, plastic waste, deforestation, and water scarcity are threatening our planet and health.
Rural areas are also facing issues like burning waste, drying water bodies, and lack of green cover.
There is low awareness about climate change, recycling, and sustainable habits among the masses.
The Save Earth Project spreads knowledge and motivates action to protect the environment for future generations.

🔹 Main Focus Areas

  1. Tree Plantation Drives – Promote plantation of native trees in schools, villages, and roadsides.

  2. Plastic-Free Village Campaigns – Create awareness and action plans to eliminate single-use plastic.

  3. Eco Club Formation in Schools – Encourage children to lead environmental activities and pledges.

  4. Waste Segregation & Recycling – Teach people to manage wet/dry waste and reuse materials.

  5. Water Conservation Activities – Promote rainwater harvesting, clean ponds, and save every drop.

How the Save Earth Works

UDGI Foundation mobilizes local volunteers, teachers, and youth groups to organize awareness and action drives in targeted villages.
Workshops, rallies, skits, poster-making competitions, and public oaths are used to spread environmental messages.
Each village or school gets a “Green Task Team” to take charge of plantation, cleanliness, and eco-awareness events.
Monitoring is done through before-after visuals, community feedback, and number of trees/plastic reduced.

🔸 Key Activity Areas

  1. Monthly Clean-Up Drives – Conduct “Swachhta Seva” events to clean village roads and ponds.

  2. Green School Challenges – Recognize schools practicing plantation, recycling, and clean energy habits.

  3. Plastic Collection Hubs – Set up local collection centers and link with recycling units.

  4. Climate Education Sessions – Teach children about global warming, pollution, and green choices.

  5. Partnership with Panchayats – Involve local leaders in making villages eco-friendly and sustainable.
