Digital Equalizer (DE) is AIF’s flagship nonprofit education program that facilitates equitable access to quality learning for students from government schools across 28 states and 7 union territories of India. This initiative bridges the educational and digital divides in India and prepares students, especially young girls, for careers and lives of their choosing.
Regarded as one of the best nonprofits for education, AIF’s Digital Equalizer program targets secondary students in grades 6-10. It primarily trains educators in basic computer literacy and pedagogical methodologies that together bring creativity, diversity, and real-life examples into the school curriculum through the use of technology. DE exemplifies the impact education nonprofits can have on improving learning outcomes and fostering digital inclusion.
