This policy applies to all donations made to UDGI Foundation (whether one-time or recurring) and to any payments made for programs, events or services associated with the Foundation.
2. Nature of Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions made to support UDGI Foundation’s charitable programs.
Once a donation is processed, it is immediately put to work for the benefit of beneficiaries, in line with the Foundation’s mission.
Accordingly, donations are typically non-refundable.
As noted in our Privacy Policy: “We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including: duplicate donations, unintended donations, program withdrawals, change of mind.” udgifoundation.org
3. When Refunds Might be Considered
Although refunds are not the norm, we may consider a refund in exceptional circumstances such as:
A technical error caused by us (e.g., double‐processing of the donation)
A legitimate unauthorised transaction
A project or programme for which your donation was specifically earmarked has been cancelled and cannot be redirected.
Such refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and discretion lies with the Foundation.
4. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please proceed as follows:

Your name and contact details
Date of donation/payment
Amount donated
Transaction ID/receipt number
Reason for refund request
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within [e.g., 7 working days] and respond with our decision and next steps.
5. Processing Time & Method
If a refund is approved, the amount will be processed using the same payment method as the original donation/payment.
Please allow up to [e.g., 30 working days] from our approval for the funds to be reflected, subject to your bank/payment provider.
6. Tax Implications
If a tax deduction (under section 80G or otherwise) was issued for the donation and the amount is refunded, the deduction may need to be reversed.
Donors are advised to consult with their tax advisor on any implications.
7. Returns for Services or Program Fees
For payments related to specific services, programmes or events (rather than pure donations), the Foundation will specify any refund or cancellation terms at the point of registration.
Unless stated otherwise, these payments are not eligible for refund once the service has commenced or event attendance has been used.
8. Revisions to Policy
UDGI Foundation reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
