UDGI Foundation is registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act (Ministry of Corporate Affairs). This status confirms our non-profit purpose and legal structure designed for philanthropic activity and public benefit.
We are listed with national development platforms, ensuring visibility and easy verification by government departments and institutional partners.
UDGI Foundation is registered under Section 12A of the Income-tax Act — enabling tax-exempt status on charitable income and strengthening financial accountability.
Donations to UDGI Foundation are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G, allowing donors to claim tax benefits while supporting social programmes.
We are CSR-ready and listed for CSR partnerships, with processes and documentation in place for smooth project funding, implementation and reporting under corporate CSR guidelines.

UDGI Foundation is officially authorized to operate a Common Service Center (CSC) under CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Through this center, UDGI Foundation provides essential digital services, government scheme access, and citizen support to underserved communities. This initiative strengthens digital inclusion, improves access to public services, and promotes social and economic empowerment at the grassroots level, in line with the Digital India mission.
UDGI Foundation has been officially selected by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as a Registered Space Tutor for a three-year period. This recognition authorizes the foundation to promote space education, scientific awareness, and innovation among students and communities. Through this prestigious recognition, UDGI Foundation is committed to inspiring the next generation in astronomy, STEM learning, and India’s space mission, especially in rural and underserved areas.
